LVG’s Rashford claim
Louis van Gaal has cast doubt over Marcus Rashford’s long-term future at Old Trafford.
It was the Dutchman who gave the forward his debut at United back in 2016.
But he has shone light on a recent Rashford interview in which he didn’t commit his career to the Red Devils.
“I admire him for being such an honest and pure guy. He comes from an area where things are tough,” the man who handed the talented young forward his first-team debut four years ago told The Mirror .
“And the way he is fighting for less privileged kids is wonderful. He does a lot of stuff for the community. He is a great lad.
“I enjoyed listening to him when he said he hopes to play at United for a long, long time.
“But I listened carefully. And he did not say he would never play for another club.’’
Beckham eyes Romero
David Beckham’s Inter Miami are eyeing a move out of favour Sergio Romero.
The back-up Manchester United goalkeeper is desperate to secure a move away from Old Trafford and could be offered a move to the MLS.
He is one of four goalkeepers at the club but has David de Gea, Dean Henderson and Lee Grant all ahead of him in the pecking order.
Inter Miami are ready to present him a route out of the Premier League club in January, reports the Athletic.
Beckham is hoping to use his United connections to begin adding big names to his American outfit.
