Reigning champions Liverpool travel to the South Coast for a Premier League clash against Brighton on Saturday.
BRIGHTON VS LIVERPOOL: PREDICTIONS
In a topsy-turvy campaign that has rarely stuck to script, champions Liverpool take on Brighton at the Amex this weekend, looking to win a first Premier League away game in four attempts.
Jurgen Klopp has had the juggling act of dealing with a depleted squad this season, which has culminated in the loss of Virgil van Dijk for a protracted period of time, but the German coach has largely come through the injury crisis unscathed, with his side currently second in the table.
At Anfield Liverpool have been imperious, recently setting a new club record of 64 consecutive top-flight league games unbeaten at home in the 3-0 win over Leicester. But, away from fortress Anfield, the problems have mounted, with a 7-2 defeat to Aston Villa followed up by back-to-back draws against Everton and Man City.
Klopp will be eager to end that concerning run on the road, but they take on a Janus-faced Brighton, who can play some breathtaking football on their day, but have largely failed to translate that form, with Graham Potter’s side currently 16th in the table.
