Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira decided to hit back at a number of fans that left a comment on one of his Twitter posts.

The 24-year-old, who has made 39 appearances in all competitions under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer this season, scoring just twice, has struggled to hold down a regular place in the United side of late following the addition of Bruno Fernandes.

Despite a number of encouraging performances in the past, especially in the club’s Europa League campaign, United fans have been known to criticise the Brazilian for his lack of consistency in the middle of the park.

And when Pereira recently complained about the servers on Call of Duty, a number of fans jumped on the post and began to jeer him about his performances on the pitch.

“Warzone Server what’s happening?” he posted on Monday night.

One fan responded to the tweet, saying; “Probably performing like you do on the pitch” and Pereira, moments later, replied saying: “Nobody cares what you tweet.”

And it didn’t take long for other fans to aim their criticism at Pereira.

In response to the above tweet, another user said: “Too loud for a player that’s played in eight different positions and served up nothing in any of them. Hope this helps.”

The Brazilian midfielder once again responded by aiming a “nobody cares” tweet his way.

Back in February, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sent out a clear message to Andreas Pereira and his teammate Jesse Lingard, who were both omitted from United’s matchday squad for the 3-0 win over Watford.

The Norwegian certainly displayed some ruthlessness in deciding to drop the duo for the following Sunday’s game at Old Trafford and since, the pair have struggled for minutes at Old Trafford.

He told MUTV that both players that need to start performing or else they will continue to be overlooked
